Personal Safety

At Vodbull UK, our paramount concern is that all customers have a safe and enjoyable night out. To that end, included below are a number of guidelines to ensure your personal safety each and every time you go out.

Taxis and Getting to/from the Club:

Never leave a club and travel home alone. If you leave your friends, let them know where you are going and always share a cab with another person you know.
When leaving a club, only ever use a black cab. Whilst private hire cars are great for booking in advance, you may not be insured if you flag one down on the street. Either call and book in advance or use a black cab.
DO NOT walk home on your own from a club, however bad the urge to save a few quid on the taxi. It is easy to get lost and some city streets are not safe to walk around at night. Always take a cab.
NEVER get into an unmarked car or unregistered taxi. This can be highly dangerous and potentially costly. All registered taxis display a license. Make sure your cab is legitimate!

Alcohol Consumption:

Drink in moderation and do not binge.
Always alternate alcoholic drinks with soft drinks.
Never leave a drink unattended and never drink from a drink which has been left unattended.
If your drink looks or tastes suspect, do not drink it.
Do not accept a drink offered by a stranger.
When drinking from a bottle, cover the top with your thumb when it is away from your mouth.
Do not mix alcohol with prescription or other drugs.
Always eat before you go out.

General Policy

The follow general policy applies to all our events:

Strictly Over 18 Only
Admission is with valid University Student Card and photographic ID (passport or driving license) only (one guest (with photo ID) per University card holder maximum). If you do not have BOTH forms of ID you will not be allowed entry.
If you have lost or had your student ID stolen, please call us in advance on 07920 404142 to ensure you gain entry. If you turn up on the door without the correction ID entry will be refused.
A ticket does not guarantee entry. Right of Admission Reserved (ROAR)
Tickets are only valid until 11.30pm (unless otherwise explicity stated on the ticket), after which time a surcharge maybe payable. Guestlist places are only guaranteed until 11pm.

The best place to buy tickets is direct from the Vod-Shop!!

Alternatively, if the Vod-Shop has sold out, tickets to most of our events are avaliable from the following ticket outlets:

	OMCO Convenience - Dawlish Road, Selly Oak
	Old Skool Daze - Bristol Road, Selly Oak
	Bar One - Shackleton Hall
	Aston Wines
	All Birmingham Uni halls and various departmental societies

Please ensure you purchase your ticket from an official outlet. If you suspect that someone is touting you a ticket, please report it immediately to 07920 404142, identifying the vendor and price the ticket was offered to you for. Touting is illegal and will be dealt with using the full force of the law. Buying touted tickets may jepordise your entry into the club and is strongly discouraged.

Please also be wary of fake tickets. We use secure printing and our staff can immediately identify fake tickets. Make sure your ticket has a watermark and a secure foil strip at the join. If you are offered a ticket which does not have these features it is likely to be fake. Again, please report any such activity to us immediately on 07920 404142.
